Статья посвящена проблемам изучения современных взаимодействий религии и политики. В частности, представлены основные положения секулярной парадигмы и ее критический анализ, изложены теоретические подходы к исследованию политического присутствия религии, показаны ключевые направления исследований в этой области. Автор подчеркивает, что отношения между религией и современностью имеют чрезвычайно сложный характер и подвержены действию разнонаправленных тенденций.

The article discusses the study of modern interaction between religion and politics. In particular, it demonstrates arguments of the secular paradigm and its critical analysis, outlines theoretical approaches to the study of religion’s political persistence, shows the key areas of research in this area. The author emphasizes that the relationship between religion and modernity is of extremely complex character and is subject to differently oriented trends.
