В статье анализируются социальные факторы активности избирателей на муниципальных выборах в России. Методом линейной регрессии подтверждается влияние на активность избирателей таких факторов, как уровень урбанизации, этнической мобилизации и протестного голосования; при этом не выявлено связи с уровнем экономического развития муниципалитета и доли представителей бюджетной сферы. Не подтверждается также значимость мобилизации представителей «бюджетной сферы» - врачей и учителей. Отмечается, что массовое политическое сознание на муниципальном уровне содержит в себе как демократические, так и автократические черты.

The article analyses social factors of electoral behavior at the municipal elections in Russia. On the basis of linear regression, it is stated that determinants of the electoral behavior are urbanization, the ethnic mobilization and the protest activity; there are no relationship between the electoral behavior and the economic development as well as a percent of doctors and teaching staff. The mass political consciousness on the municipal level appears as a complex phenomenon that includes both democratic and autocratic features.
