Когнитивная теория метафоры является довольно популярным инструментом российских политологов. Однако ее освоение было достаточно быстрым и недостаточно глубоким, что привело к ряду проблем в современных политических исследованиях. В статье рассматриваются алгоритмы исследования, выработанные в отечественной политической лингвистике, их соотношение с базовыми идеями когнитивной теории метафоры, показывается, с какими проблемами данные исследования сталкиваются, и предлагаются возможные пути решения этих проблем, исходя из ключевых положений когнитивной теории метафоры.
Cognitive metaphor theory is rather popular instrument among Russian political scientists. However its implementation has been rather quick and not deep enough, that led to a number of problems in contemporary political studies. The article deals with algorithms of studies developed in Russian political linguistics and with how they relate to the basic ideas of the cognitive metaphor theory, it demonstrates the problems those studies face, and suggests possible ways of solving these problems from the perspective of the key provisions of the cognitive metaphor theory.
