The article examines the state of the global and Russian political conflictology. Century of two world wars and the Cold War is over, but the beginning of the XXI century - the century of new tests mankind. Scientists, who study political conflicts, have to give your answer to the challenges of this new reality. The authors talk about the stages of development of the theory of conflict in the world and Russia, on the establishment of political conflict resolution and education scientific community of scientists, who study political conflicts in the country, about the problems of scientific plan, which stand in front of them.

The article presents an analysis of the studies of the elite phenomenon in contemporary foreign and domestic political science. The subject of investigation - the evolution steel elitological studies, its agenda, methodological approaches, thematic specialization. On the basis of an array of publications, the author concludes that elitology in the moment is one of the most advanced sub-disciplines of domestic political science. The most significant results were obtained in studies of the regional elite, top-level management of the bureaucracy, in the political-psychological study of power groups. Autor identifies the following areas: political-psychological, political, sociological, comparative, study of intra-relationships.

The article examines the history and the stages of institualization of political communication studies. It demonstrated a synthetic character of this subject field. The article points out species of the communicative method of the research and of the communicative methodology of studing social and political institutes and processes. Problems of the mediatization of policy, the conception of deliberative democracy, as well as many other aspects of the political process are discussed.

The paper offers a survey of the development of the public administration as a sub discipline of political science and emphasizes the political and methodological issues that shaped its evolution, multidisciplinary perspective, and the normative nature of its research. The author focuses on the study of public administration and public policy in Russia and shows that it has been among the most rapidly developing fields in the political science over the past several decades.

The article represents observations of formation and development of the regional political studies as a separate branch of Russia political science. The author shortly describes international scientific context, issues of contemporary patterns of federalism and regionalism. The main focus is on features of development of Russia regional political studies since 1990 years to present days. In conclusion are noted main attainments of regional political studies in Russia, and also some most important dimensions for future progress are marked.

The article examines the main factors of researchers’ interest to the concept of identity and the conceptualization of political identity and identity policy. The author analyzes problems and results of political scientists’ investigations of identity (social, national, gender, civic, political etc.). The differences of approach to identity policy are explained by differences of research traditions and by contentious character of the concept.

In contrast to the normative and structural approach the article proposes to consider the role and importance of the knowledge factor in the development of communication processes of public administration. Modern public administration is no longer relying solely on the regulatory environment for sustainable order, but increasingly uses judgment to achieve governability.

The article analyzes how Russian researchers study foreign parties and party systems. The goal is to understand how deeply are these studies integrated into the world political science and how actively they use up-to-date tools and methodologies. The literature of 2000-2015 is token into consideration. The conclusion is that Russian researchers remained to be Western- and Europe-oriented. Less than a quarter of works were carried out with the use of modern tools of political science, only three publications are based on the original author's methodology.

The results of an expert poll about political researches in the academic institutes are analyzed. The methodology of the project and goals of the expert poll are highlighted. Achievements and problems of the political science in the academic institutes are revealed. The authors introduce a number of motions about development of political researches in the academic institutes.

The evolution of government-business relations in Russia has been analyzed by numerous Russian researchers. For subjects can be pointed out within government-business relations studies: sistemic elements of relations, GR and lobbying, economic political science and corporate social responsibility.

In this article studies of the elite recruitment in the Russian political science are analyzed. In particular it is shown that studying of recruitment helps to understand connection between the development of society and the elite formation, the process of the elite institutionalization, interdependence of different regional powers and other regularities.

Rapid changes in political and military situation lead to evolvement of the Russian politico-military discourse. Coined definitions are difficult to conceptualize. Screening of the recent hybrid war discourse shows that the term can hardly be defined without establishing the links to the well-studied phenomena, such as asymmetric conflict. This article provides a pure type definition to the asymmetric conflict, which allows to interlink the relevant terms aiming at further studying the phenomenon of hybrid warfare, as well as at providing the outlook for development of politico-military situation.
