How to study the interaction of religion and politics?

Abstract

The article discusses the study of modern interaction between religion and politics. In particular, it demonstrates arguments of the secular paradigm and its critical analysis, outlines theoretical approaches to the study of religion’s political persistence, shows the key areas of research in this area. The author emphasizes that the relationship between religion and modernity is of extremely complex character and is subject to differently oriented trends.
